Last updated: 10 October 2026

1. About these Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the Krupa Mistry Art website.

The website and business are operated by:

Krupa Mistry
Trading as Krupa Mistry Art
Staffordshire, United Kingdom
Email: krupamistryart@gmail.com

By placing an order through the website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

2. About the artwork

Krupa Mistry Art sells original artwork, including:

  • Original paintings on canvas

  • Original artwork on paper

  • Other original artwork made available through the website

  • Bespoke commissioned artwork

Each original artwork is unique.

Colours and appearance may vary slightly between the actual artwork and images displayed on your screen due to differences in monitors, phones, tablets and other devices.

Measurements, materials and other relevant details will be provided in the artwork listing where applicable.

3. Artwork availability

Because our artwork is original and unique, most pieces are available as a single original work.

Once an original artwork has been sold, it may no longer be available.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that artwork shown as available on the website is actually available for purchase.

If an artwork becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate refund where necessary.

4. Prices

All prices are displayed on the website in the currency shown at checkout.

The price applicable to your order will be the price displayed when you place the order.

Where applicable, delivery charges will be shown separately before you complete your purchase.

If taxes, customs duties, import charges or other charges apply to an international order, these may be payable by the customer depending on the destination country.

5. Placing an order

When you place an order through the website, you are making an offer to purchase the artwork.

You will normally receive an order confirmation by email.

An order is not considered accepted until payment has been successfully processed and we have confirmed the order.

We reserve the right to cancel an order where, for example:

  • The artwork is no longer available

  • There is an obvious pricing or listing error

  • Payment cannot be successfully processed

  • We reasonably suspect fraudulent activity

  • We are unable to fulfil the order for another legitimate reason

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, you will receive a refund of the amount paid.

6. Payment

Payments may be processed through Squarespace and/or Stripe, depending on the payment options enabled on the website.

Payment must be received before artwork is dispatched unless we have expressly agreed otherwise.

Your payment details may be processed by the relevant payment provider in accordance with its own terms and privacy policy.

7. Delivery

We offer shipping to customers internationally.

Delivery costs and estimated delivery times will be provided at checkout or in the relevant product information where possible.

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:

  • Courier delays

  • Customs processing

  • Weather

  • Strikes

  • Transport disruption

  • International border procedures

Unless a different delivery period has been agreed with you, UK consumer law generally requires goods bought online to be delivered without undue delay and, unless otherwise agreed, within 30 days. GOV.UK

8. International orders

Customers outside the UK may be responsible for:

  • Import duties

  • Customs charges

  • Local taxes

  • Brokerage or handling fees

  • Other charges imposed by the destination country

These charges are outside Krupa Mistry Art's control.

Please check the applicable rules in your country before placing an international order.

9. Packaging and damage during delivery

Artwork will be packaged with reasonable care and appropriate protection for shipping.

If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible at:

krupamistryart@gmail.com

Please provide:

  • Your order number

  • Photographs of the artwork

  • Photographs of the packaging

  • A description of the damage

Please keep the original packaging until the matter has been resolved, as the courier or insurer may require it.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer rights.

10. Returns and cancellation

For standard original artwork purchased online, consumers generally have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the artwork, subject to the applicable legal exceptions. After notifying us of cancellation, the customer generally has a further 14 days to return the goods. GOV.UK

Further information is provided in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

11. Bespoke commissioned artwork

Bespoke commissioned artwork is different from standard artwork purchased from the website.

A commission may be created specifically to a customer's requirements, including agreed subject matter, size, colours, materials or other personalised specifications.

Where artwork is genuinely made to the customer's specifications or is clearly personalised, statutory cancellation rights may not apply in the same way as they do to standard goods. Legislation.gov.uk

Specific commission terms, including pricing, deposits, timescales, revisions, cancellation and delivery, will be agreed with the customer before work begins.

Our Commission Terms will provide further information.

12. Artwork and copyright

All artwork created by Krupa Mistry remains protected by copyright unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Purchasing an original artwork does not automatically transfer copyright to the purchaser.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, Krupa Mistry retains copyright in the artwork.

This may include reproducing the artwork:
